As we already mentioned, various reports suggest an update for the 2019 Infiniti QX30. However, none of them gave us some more precise details. So, we must rely on our own predictions. When it comes to styling, we don’t expect many changes. Simply, this crossover is among prettiest models in class. Its look is very distinctive and some further improvements are not expected at the moment. So, we could see only some minor tweaks and nothing more than that. Additionally, we could see some new color options, as well as new wheels design.
The same thing is expected inside. The new 2019 Infiniti QX30 should continue with the familiar layout, but we could also see smaller tweaks. On the other side, each trim should come with some novelties.

The 2019 Infiniti QX30 will continue with same four trim levels in the offer, but each of them should receive few novelties. Those are base, Luxury, Premium and Sport. In the current 2018-year model, the base comes with standard features like 18-inch wheels, 7-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, 6-speaker audio system, voice controls etc. The Luxury trim adds various conveniences. Things under the hood should remain the same. The 2019 Infiniti QX30 will continue with a familiar 2.0-liter gasoline engine, which is good for about 208 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. It comes in a pair with a seven-speed automatic transmission, which delivers power to either front or all wheels. This combination provides pretty quick acceleration, which is balanced with the nice fuel economy.
For the European market, there is also a diesel version in the offer. It is a 2.2-liter engine, which is good for about 170 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. This model also comes with a 7-speed automatic transmission but features much better fuel economy.

The Mercedes-Benz GLA shares the same base powertrain and fuel economy estimates as the QX30. It has deft handling and holds its own on winding roads, while the high-performance AMG model offers a lot more horsepower. The Mercedes also has more cargo room than the Infiniti. On the other hand, the QX30 has more premium cabin materials and a gentler ride. Additionally, the Infiniti's starting price is about $3,800 less than that of the entry-level Mercedes-Benz. Choosing between these two is a matter of preference.
Which Is Better: Infiniti QX30 or Jaguar E-Pace?
The Jaguar E-Pace is not a great luxury subcompact SUV. Rear-seat space is tight, and the interior includes some cheap-feeling plastics. That’s disappointing for a vehicle with such a high MSRP. Compared to the base QX30, the E-Pace costs around $8,300 more. The Jaguar is less fuel-efficient as well, and its engines don’t feel lively. On the plus side, the E-Pace has lots of cargo space and standard all-wheel drive. But that’s not enough for us to recommend it over the Infiniti.

In its standard setup, this crossover seats five people on cloth upholstery. Leatherette and leather upholstery, power-adjustable and heated front seats, and sport-styled synthetic leather seats with added side support are available.
The front seats are comfortable and supportive. The back seats have enough space for two adults, though legroom is tight for taller passengers. Rearward visibility is poor due to thick pillars and a low roofline, though some available safety features make this a little easier to deal with.

This SUV gets an EPA-estimated 24 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway. Those are some of the best ratings in the class. Models with AWD get a slightly lower 21/30 mpg.

2019 Qx30 Review
Infiniti offers the QX30 in four trim levels: Pure, Luxe, Essential, and Sport. In previous model years, the Luxe trim was called the Luxury, and the Essential trim level was called the Premium. All trims share the same turbo four engine and seven-speed automatic transmission.
The base trim is nicely equipped, but we recommend the Luxe. It’s the first trim available with more safety active features and all-wheel drive, and it adds a few standard comfort upgrades as well.
All-wheel drive is only available in the Luxe and Essential trims. A Wi-Fi hot spot can be added to any trim for $495, and a wireless smartphone charger costs $250.
Infiniti QX30 Pure
The Infiniti QX30 Pure has an MSRP of $30,150. Its standard features list includes a 7-inch touch screen, satellite radio, HD Radio, a six-speaker stereo, two USB ports, Bluetooth, proximity keyless entry, push-button start, dual-zone automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, automatic headlights, and alloy wheels. You’ll also get a few safety features, such as forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and a rearview camera.

The Infiniti QX30 Luxe retails for $33,000. It adds synthetic leather upholstery, heated front seats, eight-way power-adjustable front seats, and a panoramic moonroof.
AWD costs $2,000. For $2,300, you can get the Navigation package, which adds front and rear parking sensors, a surround-view parking camera, and a navigation system.
Infiniti QX30 Essential
The Infiniti QX30 Essential starts at $39,200. In addition to the contents of the Navigation package, it features a 10-speaker premium Bose sound system, leather seats, blind spot monitoring, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and fog lights.
AWD costs $2,200 in this trim. The ProAssist package costs $1,300 and adds more safety features, including lane departure warning, automatic high beams, parallel park assist, and adaptive cruise control.

With a starting price of $40,100, the QX30 Sport is the top-of-the-line trim.
