The shop offers brake repair, wheel alignments, driveability and drivetrain repairs, exhaust and electrical repairs, suspension and steering repairs, and transmission repairs, rebuilds, and replacement. In 2004, Seattle Magazine named Northwest Automotive as one of Seattle’s best auto repair shops. But they got to the transmission needs dropped step and the bench fee seemed high. I took it to another shop and they found it needed a part which did NOT require dropping the entire transmission. I paid for parts and labor. I asked about the bench fee to drop and they quoted me half the price of Gillece + parts of course.
